Yooooo, WAAAZZZAAAPPP???

In a day and age where people now can be able to communicate with others without having to constantly dial a number we see a sort of relapse into the "pre-telephone" where words were once written on paper and with ink. I once made a remark when I first watched the Harry Potter movies that their owls to them are like cell phones to us "muggles". They communicated through writing. The only thing different is it no longer requires a trusty messenger, a horse or owl. All you need these days is a cellphone capable of texting with unlimited text on your plan (BECAUSE IT'S SO ADDICTIVE!) As we have always been taught in life, it is that if you practice you eventually succeed and get better. The same goes for texting, it's just another form of writing and as people text each other more, their vocabulary expands. Haven't you ever noticed that when you text someone, they spell a word correctly that you didn't know how to spell? You learn from your mistakes and others which helps improve grammar and spelling. Not to mention there are a few things like parents who text their children like mine... =/ also there are of course grammar Nazis  and lets not forget about good O'l auto correct (which at times hinders the conversation more then it assists in diction). But from all this our brains gather information and process it to remember appropriate spelling of words. Sure we sometimes throw in "LOL" "kk" "brb" and the like, but those are used when people are in a rush or are texting during a lecture. Yes we sometimes get lazy but technology has thrown a ironic curve ball by taking us back into the middle ages where writing was the main type of communication, and now the younger generations are coming up with new terms and writing styles that are influencing and changing the way we write. For better or for worse, we must embrace it or a language barrier may be formed. Anyways I thought I would change up the writing style and rant. Pce 0uT Yallz & k33p txting, R3member 1t m@kes Uz bedder @ riting. >:D

Here is an example of the kinds of language barriers we all might face if we don't embrace change. LOL!!!
