Youtube has become one of the most popular social media websites out there. With the billions of views it receives its a great tool to promote your skills. Many people have taken advantage of youtube by showing off their skills such as musical artists. So many people have become famous off youtube especially new singers who find it hard to find a company to promote their musical skills. Others have found careers from youtube. Youtube is also how so many trends have started, such as gangnam style and the harlem shake.
I have personally never uploaded any youtube videos, but I think its a great tool to have in our society today. Looking at comments and certain videos you can also see the negative responses that come with you tube. Some people are very harsh on other peoples works that they have uploaded and some even violent. Take away all the trolls and this site is a great way to kick off a career you never thought could have started.
Yes Youtube has revolutionized entertainment, aside from that it also has made a phenomenal search engine for "do-it yourself". It has made a lot of people very famous and rich! The newest trends are found on Youtube
